USAID is committed to responding to the humanitarian needs of those impacted by the conflict in Gaza and the West Bank. USAID has activated a Disaster Assistance Response Team to coordinate U.S. relief efforts and strengthen the humanitarian system for the West Bank and Gaza with our USAID Mission staff on the ground.

Together, our USAID Mission leadership and staff in the region are working closely with regional governments, the UN, other donors, and aid partners to coordinate U.S. relief efforts and strengthen the humanitarian system to scale aid into Gaza, help support newly displaced persons, expedite humanitarian assistance distribution, and advocate for the safety of civilians.

Through this work, the United States government has been leading efforts to increase the flow of life-saving, sustained humanitarian assistance – food, shelter, water, medical supplies, and other critical relief items.

USAID is steadfast in our commitment to getting life-saving assistance to those in Gaza who need it most while supporting our partners and elevating the protection of civilians, as well as the safety of humanitarian workers involved in this critical response.
