On her last day in Kosovo, USAID Administrator Samantha Power met the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Vjosa Osmani. Administrator Power emphasized the U.S. government’s commitment to supporting Kosovo’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration and discussed the importance of normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. The Administrator and President Osmani also discussed the longstanding USAID partnership with Kosovo on shared priorities including good governance and rule of law, women’s empowerment, advancing clean energy, and fostering inclusive economic growth.
