Administrator Power Travels to Serbia and Kosovo - May 2023

Administrator Samantha Power is visiting Serbia and Kosovo to underscore the continued and longstanding commitment of the United States to both countries.

On her visit to Serbia, the Administrator is meeting with a variety of stakeholders and partners including government officials, civil society and business leaders, IT entrepreneurs, journalists, youth, and champions of disability rights.  In all of her engagements, the Administrator underscores USAID’s support for Serbia’s path to European Union accession through our partnership to foster economic growth and democratic development.

On her visit to Kosovo, the Administrator is engaging with a diverse set of U.S. partners and stakeholders including government officials, private sector representatives, young leaders and innovators, small farm producers, and media.  All of her engagements emphasize USAID’s strong commitment to strengthening democracy, good governance and the rule of law, engaging youth, promoting reconciliation in support of Kosovo’s multi-ethnic democracy and its Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as its efforts to catalyze new economic opportunities for the citizens of Kosovo.
