Small Business Outreach Events

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) staff is committed to assisting small businesses in their pursuit of contracts. Our sponsored outreach activities will help you learn about our mission, opportunities, partners, and how we conduct business. The OSDBU hosts activities to engage current and future partners that specialize in international development and disaster assistance activities. We are seeking new and innovative partnerships to help countries on their development journey to self-reliance.

The USAID/OSDBU will post notification of its sponsored outreach activities on the Beta.SAM.GOV website. All interested parties must register for each activity according the instructions outlined in each announcement.  Please join us for the following small business outreach activities:

March 3-4, 2020

U.S. Agency for International Development, 2nd Overseas Small Business Conference, Frankfurt, Germany

The two-day conference will highlight USAID’s programming priorities and procurement needs for the Missions of Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, and Africa. In addition to networking with USAID’s contracting and technical officials and prime contractors, the following U.S. Federal partners are invited to participate:  U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce (Minority Business Development Agency), U.S. General Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (Centers for Disease Control), the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and other federal agencies. USAID is partnering with the U.S. Women's Chamber of Commerce (USWCC) to identify, and network with Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) representatives interested in international development.   2. Be prepared to network with potential business partners; and
  3. Review the agency’s website to identify the bureaus, Independent Offices, or Missions that are a good fit for your firm’s services.
