Small Business Outreach Events

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) staff is committed to assisting small businesses in their pursuit of contracts. Our sponsored outreach activities will help you learn about our mission, opportunities, partners, and how we conduct business. The OSDBU hosts Vendor Outreach Sessions (VOS) that are geared towards specific industries, bureau activities, and agency-wide initiatives.  

The USAID/OSDBU will post notification of its sponsored outreach activities on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page ( All interested parties must register for each activity according the instructions outlined in each announcement. On May 4th, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) hosted its Ninth Annual Small Business Conference 2016, USAID and U.S. Small Businesses: Expanding Opportunities Worldwide. USAID recognizes the expertise, dedication and innovation that U.S. small businesses bring to its mission to end extreme poverty. To celebrate this unique partnership USAID hosted a one-day event, attended by over 200 small business representatives, focused on celebrating the inclusion of U.S. small businesses as USAID's development partners both domestically as well as at USAID missions.
