The activity will prioritize learning and adaptation, and should draw lessons from USAID/Mali’s ongoing efforts in this area. USAID anticipates a strong focus on supporting local leadership in understanding, tracking, and countering MDM in the Sahel region. This will include learning from local and regional organizations active in this space, and supporting efforts to build networks of such organizations across the region and with other regions where like-minded actors are responding to disinformation threats.
