Over my 20 years of work with USAID/PEPFAR, we have helped Cambodia become a leader in the fight against HIV, reaching the 90-90-90 milestone in 2017, and progressing toward elimination by 2025. I am most proud of the startup of home and community-based care and support services and its nationwide expansion, which were later evolved and renamed as the "community action approach," the startup of the first antiretroviral treatment site and its expansion to 71 sites throughout the country, and the successes of the advocacy efforts to the Government of Cambodia to adopt community-based HIV rapid resting, which is key to better reaching hidden and hard-to-reach key populations.

I wanted to especially thank every one of our team members and let them know that it has been an honor and a privilege to work with them at USAID/PEPFAR Cambodia. Without each of you, we would not have been able to accomplish as much as we did during these difficult and challenging 20 years.

It has been an honor and privilege to work with USAID/PEPFAR to support Cambodia to achieve sustained HIV epidemic control and to eliminate new infections by 2025. Cambodia has, in fact, demonstrated itself as a regional leader in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
