The rise of emerging technologies is beginning to transform development. Advanced biometric systems can easily identify people, AI tools can rapidly improve decision-making, and 3D printers can manufacture medical parts in remote regions. USAID is committed to supporting our partner countries in using and responding to these technologies appropriately.

The Emerging Technologies team works to develop evidence-based resources and guidance for USAID and the international development community to navigate these emerging trends in technology responsibly.
