The Climate Smart Energy (CSEA) Activity is expected to be a five-year Award which aims to support the Government of Pakistan (GOP) in the implementation of its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) announcements of 2021. USAID may propose its support for Pakistan in two ways: 1) reducing emissions from the energy sector; and 2) decreasing the energy sector’s vulnerability to the effects of climate change.

The purpose of this activity is to enable data-driven decision-making and evidence-based collaborating, learning, and adapting within and amongst USAID/Georgia and its implementing partners to improve program management and development impact.

Improve economic livelihoods for rural and urban youth and women in violent extremist (VE) moderate and high-risk areas in the north.

Through the DRC Rural and Peri-Urban Sanitation Activity addendum to the FY 2020 Diversifying Partnerships in WASH (DiP-WASH) Annual Program Statement (APS) No. XXX, the USAID/Democratic Republic of Congo (USAID/DRC) seeks to expand market-based approaches and already demonstrated financing models to increase the demand for improved sanitation services, strengthen the supply chain for sanitation and services and the enabling environment by building the capacity of existing services providers.
The DRC Rural and Peri-Urban Sanitation addendum seeks to leverage ideas, capacity and resources from private sector entities to launch specific interventions aimed at developing the market for sanitation products and services, while retaining some accessory activities on household hygiene promotion, including potential support to open defecation free (ODF) campaigns and handwashing, in collaboration with other USAID programs operating in the same target geographies.

The goal of the USAID Libya Expanded Partnerships for Institutional Capacity (L-EPIC) activity is to support select national government entities in Libya to improve service delivery performance through increased use of international technical best practices, reducing opportunities for corruption and rent-seeking, and integration of technology and process standardization. In order to forge a consensus on important reforms, L-EPIC will serve as a platform to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve engagement, expand the dialogue, and broaden the effectiveness of public outreach and consultation. Strategic communications and outreach to diverse segments of the Libyan population will help to inform the public debate and address perceptions about sensitive issues such as the government’s role in the economy and the efficacy of GOL policies and programs. The activity goal is more equitable, efficient, and sustainable public services as well as improved government responsiveness to citizens' needs and demands, contributing to more accountable, transparent, and inclusive governance. All activities to reach the stated objectives are expected to be undertaken in partnership with individual Libyan governmental and quasi-governmental/ parastatal institutions. Partnerships are expected to address one or more objectives.

To assist the Government of Indonesia in reducing preventable maternal and newborn mortality and achieving the SDG 2030 targets by focusing on strengthening the quality of care and enhancing equity

The PGI TO will provide infrastructure project design and delivery support, and enabling environment reforms, to remove barriers to strategic infrastructure opportunities. The PGI TO will provide infrastructure transaction advisory services and technical assistance on a flexible, rapid response basis to discrete public or private sector projects that resolve legal, technical, or regulatory barriers to implementation.

HEA - Essential support to accelerate GoI’s progress in achieving and sustaining HIV epidemic control by 2030 by optimizing access, quality, and delivery of HIV/AIDS services, particularly for Key Populations.

The potential scope of works:
1. Strengthen the integration of HIV friendly prevention services for priority populations by developing locally developed and person-centered prevention interventions and risk-reduction messages.

2. Improve care and treatment outcomes for PLHIV. The Activity will focus on identifying and addressing barriers and challenges to continuity of care and access to critical viral load testing.

3. Support the development of Locally-led systems managing, monitoring, and delivering HIV services. This Activity will work closely with the sub-national health units to ensure they have sufficient authority and capacity to plan for, manage, and monitor health service delivery. The Activity will also build the organizational and technical capacity of local actors with the goal of strengthening local organization’s skills in planning, resource mobilization, management of large donor-funded programs, and their strategic development.
