In 2022 RLC Accra trained 48 alumni in sustainable waste management. Alumni are now putting these lessons learnt into their work across the sub-region. In Senegal, RLC Dakar hosted a training for 28 alumni on sustainable development and climate change. By mobilizing partners to support alumni activities, the RLC enabled Senegal’s alumni network to secure resources from the Port Foundation as well as grant sponsorships from the Mayors of Wakhinane Nimzatt and Linguere. The partnership with Power Africa has made it possible to start a coaching program which should lead to the incubation and the subsidy of the best projects.
