The YALI West Africa RLCs in Dakar and Accra met in January to share progress on a new YALI Africa Learning Management System (LMS) developed by the Dakar RLC, that allows creation, delivery and reporting on training courses and programs online.
The YALI Dakar RLC’s Technical Curriculum team welcomed YALI RLC Accra staff to learn more about the effective implementation and optimal use of the shared e-learning platform. The meeting focused on sharing experiences and best practices, designing, and managing digital teaching resources, facilitating synchronous online activities, and integrating assessment and follow-up tools for learners. Special emphasis was placed on developing support methods and gamification of the learning experience.
By the end of the working sessions, the YALI Accra RLC was able to upload and integrate their three training tracks- business and entrepreneurship, civic leadership and public management into the LMS.
