The YALI Regional Leadership Center (RLC) for Southern Africa (SA) is located in Pretoria and is managed by the University of South Africa in collaboration with a growing number of African and international partners. Since its inception, YALI RLC SA has directly impacted the lives of more than 7,000 leaders through its programming.
The Curriculum
The RLC’s core programming is offered in three tracks of study in both English and Portuguese, including Business and Entrepreneurship Development, Civic Leadership, and Public Management and Governance. The RLC also offers sector specific programs, including the Education Change Makers in partnership with the Trevor Noah Foundation, Women in African Power in partnership with Power Africa, and Sustainable Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) developed jointly with USAID’s Regional Education Environment and Democracy (REED) team. The RLC also offers Post Training Activities including access to HP Life courses, being part of the communities of practice, mentorship programs, alumni networking events, and limited and competitive funding opportunities.
