On October 10th, USAID handed over management of the KP eLog, health care software that securely keeps client data, to the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control. The KP eLog is part of a suite of digital tools that was developed through a collaboration between the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control and USAID to improve the local capacity to respond to HIV needs and manage the disease. Along with this system, a community health server and a province-wide quality management dashboard was also transferred, enabling health care providers to effectively manage HIV related services.

Digital tools to improve health care providers ability to respond to and monitor HIV patients increases HIV epidemic control and broader global health security.
