USAID held a public-private partnership policy forum with the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and the Academy for Policy and Development. More than 100 SGBs attended to discuss their business concerns and constraints with Government of Vietnam (GVN) representatives.

SGBs face significant hurdles in accessing GVN preferential loans and in influencing policy making. This forum gave them the opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue with the GVN to improve opportunities for SGBs. USAID will replicate this model across Vietnam.
