On May 31, USAID Vietnam partnered with the Government of Vietnam to launch the second phase of USAID’s flagship disabilities project, INCLUSION, in two of the eight target provinces, Binh Dinh and Kon Tum. Begun in 2021, this $65 million project partners with the Vietnamese government, local organizations, and the private sector to strengthen the country’s rehabilitation system and community support networks to ensure that all persons with disabilities have the opportunity to fully participate in society while improving their overall quality of life. This phase will run through the project’s end in 2026.

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) INCLUSION project partners with the Vietnamese government to provide direct rehabilitation and social assistance to persons with severe disabilities, improve and expand the rehabilitation service sector, and implement policies at the local level to increase access to services that facilitate social participation and independence of persons with disabilities.
