On April 10, USAID announced a new partnership with the War Remnants Museum (WRM) in Ho Chi Minh City to co-design and install an exhibit showcasing the two countries’ joint efforts to overcome the consequences of the war. USAID and the WRM formalized the partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding at a ceremony held at the museum, with a visiting delegation of U.S. Congress members led by Senator Jeff Merkley of Oregon acting as witnesses.
This collaboration will help the museum create a modern, state-of-the art exhibit that focuses on mine/UXO action, environmental remediation, and support for persons with disabilities. Press Release
