On March 13, USAID conducted a training for IDICO Urban and House Development Joint Stock Company, a leading industrial park developer, on clean energy solutions for industrial parks. This will advance renewable energy deployment, improve energy efficiency, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industrial parks.
USAID is partnering with industrial park owners and developers to deploy advanced clean energy systems and solutions in industrial parks nationwide. This aligns with the United States government’s strategy to support Vietnam's decarbonization of industrial manufacturing, as well as its work to develop a circular economy and achieve Vietnam’s net-zero emissions goal by 2050. This is part of USAID's larger effort to assist Vietnam in the deployment of 2,000 megawatts of renewable energy through private sector engagement.
