Assumptions can often be influenced or brought under the management control of a project team. While not specifically required, a systematic analysis of the likelihood that project assumptions will remain valid can help USAID make wise investments. Start this table by importing the Assumptions from the Logical Framework template in which you have identified your project assumptions. Use either the CIDA rating system for Identifying Risky Assumptions provided in this kit (on the Identifying Risky Assumptions page in the CDCS section) or simple High/Medium/Low ratings to complete Columns 3 and 4 of this table. For assumptions that are not likely to be valid and have serious impact implications, identify what actions will be taken in the final column.
