Eldivia Gonzales is a shipibo woman who lives in Pueblo Nuevo, a native community in Ucayali that receives support from USAID and AIDER through the Forest Alliance. The community members have learned to manage the natural resources in a sustainable way, and improve their economy by taking care of the forest.

Yackxeri Vela is an environmental monitor and member of RONAP, an Amazon Brazil nut Gatherers Association that contributes to the conservation of Amazon Brazil nut forests.
