Today, Administrator Samantha Power met with Chuck Robbins, Chief Executive Officer of Cisco, to explore how our two organizations can work together to support Ukraine’s critical infrastructure and cybersecurity needs and quickly deliver connectivity services and technology amid Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.

Administrator Power congratulated Mr. Robbins on the twenty-fifth anniversary of Cisco’s Networking Academy, which is helping Ukrainian refugees strengthen their cybersecurity and programming skills through the Cisco4Ukraine partnership, and they discussed the potential for expanding the program in Ukraine.

Administrator Power and Mr. Robbins reviewed Ukraine’s technological modernization efforts that have established the country as a digital trailblazer in Europe and discussed how the two organizations can work together to enable other countries to make similar strides in e-governance. They also explored potential ways to mobilize additional investments in Africa.
