Today, USAID Deputy Administrator Paloma Adams-Allen will travel to Bangkok, Thailand, for the Asia Deputy Mission Directors workshop at the Bangkok-based USAID Regional Development Mission for Asia. While there, she will meet with USAID senior leadership and staff to discuss priorities of increasing workforce support and advancing USAID’s localization efforts, with a special focus on enhancing diversity, equality, and inclusion in our teams, partners, and programs. During her visit, she will help promote USAID’s work to achieve sustainable humanitarian and development gains around the world. 

Deputy Administrator Adams-Allen will also meet with USAID staff and partners to discuss a range of USAID priorities and key areas of work in the region, including humanitarian assistance, disaster preparedness, environmental sustainability and governance, and health.
