Today, USAID Deputy Administrator Paloma Adams-Allen met with members of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to highlight USAID’s commitment to maintain close ties with the OECS, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), and the broader Caribbean region.
During the meeting, the group discussed key areas for collaboration, including education, citizen security, agriculture and food security, and climate resilience.
Highlighting the strong and longstanding strategic partnership between USAID and OECS, Deputy Administrator Adams-Allen expressed appreciation for the role of the OECS in driving and supporting sustainable development in the Caribbean region.
