USAID’s Office of Civil Rights is led by a career member of the Senior Executive Service, who is the Agency’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Official. The Office provides strategic direction, guidance, and technical assistance to USAID management to ensure equality of opportunity at USAID and non-discrimination in United States-based programs receiving Federal financial assistance. The Office of Civil Rights educates the workforce about their EEO rights and responsibilities and non-discrimination in USAID programs.
