The Accra Regional Leadership Center (RLC), located on the campus of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA),  selects and trains participants who have demonstrated leadership qualities and are between the ages 18 and 35.  Participants are drawn from nine countries within the sub region, namely: Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Sierra  Leone, Togo, Cote D’Ivoire, Gambia, Cameroon. The Accra RLC has so far trained over 7,800 young Africans who have  gone ahead to start and expand businesses, in different sectors, and in the process created employment opportunities  for other young people. Our Alumni have also initiated projects for various social causes that have impacted the lives of  people across the sub region and beyond.

The Curriculum

The Accra RLC’s curriculum is delivered via two approaches: the online and hybrid modes. Online participants  undertake an eight-week training online, while hybrid participants commence their five-week training with a mandatory  initial two-week online program before proceeding to a three-week in-person training. Post training activities include  mentorship, internship, community service and report writing.
