HIV epidemic data gathered between 2019 and 2023 in Can Tho province indicates a 10% increase in the number of HIV cases among industrial workers. In response, USAID has partnered with Can Tho’s Labor Federation and community-based organizations to provide informational sessions on HIV transmission, sexually transmitted infections, and services provided by community-led organizations and health facilities for nearly 400 industrial workers.
This work builds awareness and encourages healthy behaviors for individuals at risk of HIV infection, and supports the U.S. Government’s efforts to implement strategic and adaptive HIV programming. [Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control project]
