Hello! I am Ann Marie Yastishock, the Mission Director for USAID/Vietnam. On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I would like to send my best wishes to each and every person with disabilities in every corner of Vietnam. Today is an important day that recognizes the inclusion, strength and resilience of persons with disabilities. Today I urge everyone to focus less on the disability and concentrate instead on the individual, and his or her abilities. This is the intent of USAID’s Disability Program. USAID pledges to continue to promote the rights and inclusion of marginalized and underrepresented populations in Vietnam’s development process. Happy International Day of Persons with Disabilities!
