Sustainable Management of Forest Concessions is a project that proposes a new model for the conservation and integral use of ecosystem services. It protects 254,000 hectares of concessioned forests that were previously destined exclusively for logging. It has a carbon project that covers 183,445 hectares with the objective of avoiding more than 9.9 million tons of carbon emissions in 20 years, to mitigate the effects of climate change. It has also been implementing environmental, social, and productive projects, such as chambira handicrafts, fariña production, and poultry raising, among others.
