Born and raised in Montreal, Canada but calling Sandwich, New Hampshire home, Paul is a career Foreign Service Officer with over 25 years of international development experience.
He joined USAID in 2005 and served in Ghana, Ukraine, Iraq, Sri Lanka, South Sudan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Cameroon, the last two posts as USAID Representative.
Prior to joining USAID, Paul worked for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Italy and then opened UNIDO’s first office in the United Kingdom. He also worked with the United States Chamber of Commerce as the Director of International Partnerships.
Paul has a master’s degree in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University in Italy, a B.A. in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal and a Diplôme Collegiate d’Ecole in Commerce from John Abbott College in Montreal.
He enjoys cooking, drinking wine, scuba diving, international travel, current affairs and the peace and solitude of the New Hampshire mountains and lakes.
