On Monday, October 18, 2021, Administrator Samantha Power will travel to Dover, Delaware to announce a new partnership between the U.S. Agency for International Development and Delaware State University (DSU), one of America’s most respected Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), to promote diversity, equity and inclusion in international development.

During the trip, Administrator Power and DSU President Tony Allen will sign a Memorandum of Understanding under the USAID’s Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) Partnerships Initiative, at an event with students, faculty and staff. More than 200 students, faculty and staff, as well as members of Congress are expected to attend the signing event.
