Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with the Executive Director of the Green Climate Fund (GCF), Mafalda Duarte. They discussed opportunities to combat the climate crisis by increasing climate financing for climate vulnerable countries and improving access to GCF funding opportunities for local actors in developing and emerging markets. They also discussed the GCF’s progress on implementing its Updated Strategic Plan and increasing private sector investments.
