Today, Deputy Administrator Coleman met with Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine. During the meeting, Deputy Administrator Coleman affirmed USAID’s continued commitment to helping Ukraine withstand the economic consequences of Russia’s aggression and strengthen Ukraine’s economic resiliency.
Minister Svyrydenko shared her views about the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy’s ongoing cooperation with USAID in areas including small and medium-size enterprise support, trade facilitation, and investment promotion. Both leaders discussed ways to help Ukraine expand private-sector activity and attract additional investment.
