On day one of his administration, President Biden signed the Executive Order On Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government, rescinding Executive Order 13950 and clearly affirming his Administration’s prioritization of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in policies and programs throughout the U.S. Government. USAID is committed to celebrating and increasing diversity while expanding and fostering inclusion and equity. We immediately reinstated DEI and related training as well as fora that are critical to advancing DEI priorities.
