From January 21-23, Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman will travel to Liberia as a member of the Presidential Delegation to the inauguration of President-elect Joseph Boakai. While in Liberia, Deputy Administrator Coleman will advance the U.S. government's work to support inclusive, equitable development, including anti-corruption efforts and healthcare access and outcomes.
In addition to attending the inauguration, the Deputy Administrator will host a roundtable discussion on transparency and countering corruption with civil society organizations and will visit USAID-supported health clinics throughout the Monrovia region.
