Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with Brazil Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira to discuss shared development priorities at the upcoming G20 meetings, including health, environment, climate sustainability, and education. In particular, they discussed tackling lead exposure as a highly tractable opportunity with intersections across all of these priorities. The Administrator also conveyed support for Brazil’s commitment to establish a Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty as a leader’s level commitment this year, as well as Brazil’s continued support for Venezuelan migrants.
