Ecuador is a regional leader on regularization of Venezuelan migrants―helping provide more stability, protection, and access to services for vulnerable populations arriving in Ecuador. In support of these efforts, USAID advances the welfare of long-term migrants and refugees by improving access to jobs, health and education. Through USAID programs, migrants and marginalized Ecuadorians, particularly women, receive entrepreneurship and business training, access to seed capital, financial and job placement services, and coaching and mentorship opportunities so that they can form sustainable businesses and contribute to economic growth.
