Crime and Violence Prevention award(s) to follow on the current Violence Prevention and Reduction Activity in Mexico (PREVI)
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks information on the interest and capacities of entities to support a prospective evaluation of the global Local Works Program. IPI/LFT wishes to conduct a performance evaluation of the Local Works program to understand the extent to which it has fulfilled its legislative intent, including: Providing USAID Missions with the support they need to do locally led development; Expanding local leadership in development processes; and Achieving uptake of locally led development practices in USAID Missions beyond Local Works teams.
Learning from the evaluation will be essential in informing programmatic adaptations and external advocacy efforts. The information generated about the program performance is intended to be used by the IPI/LFT Hub-based LW team, Mission LW teams, Agency leadership, and Congressional stakeholders.
The USAID "Employ" initiative is designed to equip Cambodians with job skills tailored to sectors that are driving inclusive and sustainable growth and economic diversification. By working directly with and through local partners such as private businesses, universities, and vocational training institutions, the activity will ready Cambodia’s emerging workforce with the skills and knowledge that will allow them to compete for and thrive in the jobs of tomorrow. Employ will emphasize improving the capabilities of women and youth in science, technology, and innovation, concentrating on areas like the green economy, STEM-related fields, digital technology, and manufacturing, among others.

NOTE: The anticipated solicitation release and award dates are notional and subject to the timeline of the USAID/Armenia "Armenia Resilience IDIQ." Timing for the issuance of the Disaster Resilience RFTOP will depend on the award of the IDIQ. USAID/Armenia will update the business forecast as decisions are made.
This task order will likely focus on developing the country’s capacity to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural and human-caused disasters. It will leverage changing roles and responsibilities in Armenia's disaster response system and reduce Armenia's vulnerability to disasters through mitigation efforts, making Armenia's economic, social, health, and environmental systems more resilient.
Subsequent task order may be used to provide USAID/Armenia with flexibility to support disaster response and recovery interventions.
