USAID calls for Concept Papers on Diaspora Engagement in BiH
USAID/Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is calling for the submission of Concept Papers for activities related to diaspora engagement in BiH economic development. USAID BiH recognizes the importance of partnering with the diaspora community and welcomes proposals for Global Development Alliances that foster the mobilization of human and financial resources from the diaspora to address BiH’s economic development needs. USAID Bosnia may allocate up to $2,000,000 to fund successful proposals.
Closing date for applications: May 25, 2014
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) from local companies for technical assistance services to implement a five-year project, entitled “Fiscal Reform Policies Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina.” Public Administration Reform, which entails public finance reform in BiH, is necessary for establishing effective, accountable and financially efficient services for businesses and citizens, and is a precondition for BiH’s integration into the EU. All project components require extensive knowledge of the fiscal sector, public administration, and IT development.

The services must include daily reports based on coverage of the most influential print, electronic and internet media in BiH. Request for Proposals: Social Cohesion and Reconciliation (SCORE) Index – Bosnia and Herzegovina
JBS International is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP 2013-GEM31) for the Social Cohesion and Reconciliation (SCORE) Index – Bosnia and Herzegovina project. The funding for this solicitation comes from the USAID Europe and Eurasia Bureau under a GEM II Task Order with JBS International. The purpose of the RFP is to obtain the services of a local organization or a consortium of partners in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to work with the Cyprus-based Center for Sustainable Peaceand Democratic Development (SeeD) to adapt and pilot the SCORE Index in BiH.
