Rebecca Wexler

Prior to joining the Biden Administration, Rebecca was a Senior Advisor in the office of Senator Amy Klobuchar, where she focused on issues related to election security, privacy, foreign policy, and voting rights.

Rebecca spent nearly six years in the Obama Administration, serving as the Special Assistant to U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Samantha Power at the U.S. Mission to the U.N. for the final two years of the Administration.

Previously, Rebecca spent three years at the Department of Homeland Security, working as an advisor in the executive offices of Secretaries Jeh Johnson and Janet Napolitano and specializing in emergency management, homeland security grants, and border security.

Rebecca holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs with a focus on international security policy, and bachelor’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University.
