Office of the Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) within the Office of the Administrator acts as the single point of contact in providing executive leadership, coordination, and direction on USAID reform initiatives.  The COO supports implementation of the 2010 Government Performance and Results Modernization Act and shepherds USAID's efforts to set and meet its priority goals.  In line with President Obama's Executive Order released last year and focused on delivering an "efficient, effective, and accountable government," the COO supports USAID's efforts to cut waste, fraud, and abuse in alignment with the Administration's Campaign to Cut Waste.  Additionally, the COO plays an integral part of the USAID Forward Leadership Team, ensuring that internal communications and messaging respond effectively to the specific requirements of all Agency operating units.
