The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) supports young people to drive growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa. The YALI Regional Leadership Center in West Africa, located in the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA ) campus in Accra, provides leadership training, networking, and professional development activities for young people ages 18-35 in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte D'Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Togo). Private sector partner engagement provides market-based relevance to the Center's programs. Partners contribute in areas such as curriculum development, access to industry experts and experiential learning opportunities, and contributions of cash or in-kind resources to enhance the Center's capability and reach.
