USAID plays an integral role in this goal as we address the economic, governance, and security challenges. Administrator Power spoke at the UN Food Systems Pre-Summit. She stressed the importance of achieving Zero Hunger by 2030 and the U.S. contributions to that goal. In Somalia, food insecurity is worsening due to COVID-19 and recurring locust infestations.
