USAID and Faiths4Vaccines launched a Year of Action to work  with the faith community to respond to COVID-19 needs. At the Global Disability Summit, Administrator Power announced 16  USAID commitments to expand disability-inclusive development. Among those are $25 million to the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology and required disability inclusion across USAID programs. USAID announced $39 million to respond to the devastating drought affecting more than 6.2 million people in Ethiopia. Deputy Administrator Coleman launched an initiative to mobilize private sector investments and augment local food production in Haiti. Administrator Power met with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama to discuss our long-standing partnership and vital support for Afghan refugees.
