USAID is committed to improving the lives of persons with disabilities in areas heavily sprayed by Agent Orange. A recent review by USAID and the Vietnamese government of this work showed that 10 multidisciplinary rehabilitation facilities were supported, 11,800 people with disabilities were screened, 3,500 people with disabilities received rehabilitation services, 5,900 people with disabilities were cared for, and 370 doctors and technicians were trained.

By reviewing these results, USAID and its partners can improve implementation, identify challenges, and define priorities, improving the lives of people affected by legacies of the war.
