USAID is working with Malawi to resolve major health issues such as perpetual shortages of qualified health workers in facilities across the country, shortage of drugs in public health facilities and high demand for health services.
USAID/Malawi supports institutional strengthening and increased citizen participation in decision-making.
USAID programs work toward three objectives: Social Development Improved, Sustainable Livelihoods Increased, Citizen Rights and Responsibilities Exercised. This strategy furthers our commitment to development partnership with the government and Malawians based on true accountability and collaboration.
