Rwanda has implemented important economic and structural reforms and sustained its economic growth rate for the last ten years. With the public-sector driven development showing limitations, the private sector will take a leading role in helping to ensure sustainable economic growth.

USAID fosters a climate where businesses can grow, and where innovation is contagious.

In partnership with the Government of Rwanda, USAID supports economic growth and prosperity through programs that boost agricultural productivity, expand livelihoods, increase incomes, and improve nutrition, thus helping Rwanda to be self-reliable and climate resilient.
