The Partnerships for Reconciliation Activity (PAR) fosters economic and social opportunities for Colombian citizens and Venezuelan migrants through public and private sector alliances. 

The Art for Reconstruction Activity uses art-based approaches to enable empathy, understanding and emotional and cognitive awareness among civilians, retired veterans and People in Process of Reintegration (PPR).

The Ending Drug-Resistant Tuberculosis in Central Asia activity is based on a comprehensive multi-component approach to provide support to the National Tuberculosis Programs (NTPs) of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan in significantly scaling up the prevention, detection, and treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB).

Activa Buenaventura strengthens public management and democracy in the port municipality of Buenaventura.  It encourages citizen participation in public affairs, helps institutions respond to citizen requests, and generates citizen confidence public institutions and decision making. Activa Buenaventura is implemented through a public-private partnership between USAID, Extituto de Política Abierta, Corona Foundation, Ford Foundation, Gases de Occidente, International Republican Institute, Movilizatorio, ProPacífico, Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Buenaventura and Carvajal Foundation.

Women of Gold (MDO) supports women’s economic and political empowerment in male-dominated mining communities in El Bagre, Nechí and Zaragoza (Antioquia). MDO is implemented through a global development alliance between USAID, the mining company Mineros S.A. and the development organization Jaime Arteaga & Associates. MDO runs from December 2018- June 2023.  

Safe Steps promotes Antipersonnel Mines Risk Education (ERM) through information and communication technologies. This activity is implemented through a public-private partnership between USAID, the Antonio Restrepo Barco Foundation, Discovery and Computadores para Educar.

USAID supports the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights’ (OHCHR) efforts to build peace and protect human rights in Colombia. OHCHR operates nationwide and support from USAID runs from June 2020 – October 2022.

The Regional Governance Activity (RGA) strengthens national, departmental, and municipal governments’ capacities to effectively engage civil society, improve public management, and deliver public services. 

The Justice for a Sustainable Peace Activity (JSP) increases citizen support for the rule of law and strengthens the effectiveness of the Colombian justice system.
