Resilient Communities (or Somos Comunidad in Spanish) improves community safety and resilience to crime and violence.  The activity builds trust among neighbors, increases confidence in police, and promotes citizen-responsive security to meet the needs of communities.

The Partners for Transparency Activity (PfT) leverages local stakeholders’ expertise, engagement, and unique positions of influence to promote a culture of transparency and accountability.

The Reconciliation for the Peace, Culture and Possibility of Life Activity (IRENE) builds the social fabric among victims, ex-combatants, and host communities in conflict-affected municipalities. 

The Avanza Pacifico Activity provides scholarships, education support, leadership training, and capacity building to Afro-Colombian and Indigenous individuals and organizations in Colombia’s Pacific Coast region.

The Peaceful and Productive Atrato Activity will help the Greater Community Council of the Atrato River (COCOMACIA) develop and update its internal strategic planning tools, improve its community radio station, and foster citizen engagement in peacebuilding.

Without a clear pathway towards durable solutions for IDPs and survivors of conflict, instability will continue to prevail across the country. USAID is supporting the return and reintegration of Iraqis through programs that provide tools and resources to help individuals and communities recover from crisis.

The Victims Institutional Strengthening Program (VISP) helps public institutions and conflict victims’ organizations implement victims’ public policies and advocate for victims’ needs. VISP trains victims on their rights, and helps government actors fulfill victims’ public policy mandates.

The Victims Participation and Collective Reparation Program (VPCRP) advocates for armed conflict victims’ rights to truth, justice, reparation and non-repetition.  VPCRP facilitates victims’ participation in Peace Agreement implementation and strengthens victims’ organizations’ capacities to influence, monitor, and evaluate the System of Truth, Justice, Reparation and Non-repetition. 

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) supports the Government of Tajikistan’s efforts to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic by providing life-saving equipment, technical assistance, laboratory and medical supplies, and support to Tajik migrants in need.

SportPower2 promotes the social inclusion of people with disabilities (PWD) and conflict victims with disabilities’ through sport and income generating activities. The activity also provides technical assistance to PWD organizations that advocate for, and provide rehabilitation care to, community members with disabilities. SportPower2 is being implemented in Antioquia, Caquetá, Magdalena and Santander and runs from July 2018-June 2022.
