A “project” generally refers to a group of activities that are designed and managed in a coordinated way to advance result(s) set forth in a CDCS or RDCS (hereinafter referred to as CDCS) and foster lasting gains along the Journey to Self-Reliance in a given country or region.
Since March 2021, project design has become streamlined and optional. Guidance for how to design a project can be found here. Please note that as a public site, there are some resources, particularly around Project Design, which are behind USAID firewall and are not available to non-USAID personnel.
