Description:

The AUDA-NEPAD Infrastructure team provides transaction assistance to regional power generation and transmission projects. Projects can be trans-boundary or within a country but affecting two or more countries. Programs supported by AUDA-NEPAD include the Program for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA), the Continental Power Systems Masterplan and the Africa Power Vision (APV). Transaction Advisory services to PIDA Projects are guided by the PIDA Integrated Corridor Approach which seeks to broaden the socio-economic impact along Infrastructure Corridors by mainstreaming amongst other things economic and social development initiatives (e.g. Industrialization and Health) related interventions/dimensions in the design and Implementation Infrastructure Projects on the PIDA Corridors.
