OurFish OurFuture

OurFish OurFuture is a five-year (2021-2026), $15 million regional project that aims to address the social and ecological drivers of illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing that are degrading coastal fisheries and biodiversity, as well as negatively impacting local livelihoods, food stability, and maritime security.

Pacific Coastal Fisheries Management and Compliance

The five-year (2021-2026), $6 million Pacific Coastal Fisheries Management and Compliance project will strengthen partner government capacity to implement monitoring, control, and surveillance of coastal fisheries, improve compliance with fisheries laws and policies, and improve national level agencies’ abilities to coordinate and collaborate with civil society and local-level fisher groups.

SCALE: Trade and Investment

USAID’s Solomon Islands Strengthening Competitiveness, Agriculture, Livelihoods, and Environment (SCALE) is a five-year, USD $25 million project that advances economic competitiveness and inclusiveness with specific emphasis on the development of the agribusiness sector and improved management of the forestry sector.

The Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) Climate Change Country Profile

FACT SHEET – RMI is one of the world’s most vulnerable areas to climate change. The country depends on natural resources that are vulnerable to coastline erosion, storm surges, and shifting rainfall. Rising sea levels and temperatures have increased the vulnerability of RMI to tropical storms and drought.
