On December 13-15, United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Samantha Power will attend the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit and reinforce the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to revitalizing global partnerships and alliances. Administrator Power will highlight U.S. collaboration with Africa on the most pressing global challenges and opportunities, including catalyzing private sector partnerships, food security, supporting emerging democracies, and climate adaptation.

On Tuesday, December 13, Administrator Power will host the opening session of the Civil Society Forum. In the afternoon, Administrator Power participates in summit sessions at the Washington Convention Center, including the “Peace, Security and Governance Forum” and “Supporting Conservation, Climate Adaptation, and a Just Energy Transition Session.”

On Wednesday, December 14, Administrator Power will hold bilateral meetings and attend U.S.-Africa Leader Summit events and discussions. 

On Thursday, December 15, Administrator Power will attend Summit sessions at the Washington Convention Center.
